Ken Kull Scholarship

The Ken Kull Scholarship Fund was founded in loving memory of Kenneth Kull Oct. 25, 1956-June 1, 2005. Ken was a dedicated and a loving family man. Son to Paul and Donna Kull. He married Susan E. Shontz Oct. 21, 1978. He was the proud father of Jason and Amber Kull. Ken also is the brother of Karen Rendulick and James Kull.

Ken was a graduate of Meadville Area Senior High School and the tool and die program of Crawford County Area Vocational-Technical School. He studied mold design at Alliance College and served his apprenticeship at C & J Industries. Ken eventually came to call Sipco Molding Technologies his home in 1985. Ken served in many roles at Sipco in his more than 20 years of service. He was a toolmaker, mold processor, lead technician, head of engineering, high output extrusion technician, field service technician, customer startup and troubleshooting, and more.

Ken’s expertise, commitment, leadership and dedication are just part of the inspiration for The Ken Kull Scholarship Fund. His commitment to continuous training and education along with his desire to share his knowledge was something that those of us who were fortunate enough to experience will never forget.

It is this spirit of learning and sharing that we must carry forward. The Ken Kull Scholarship Fund will provide scholarships to eligible applicants with the desire to further their knowledge of the tool and die or plastic molding industry. It is our hope that the scholarship(s) will help the recipient(s) to pursue their academic goals and contribute their efforts to become productive participants in their communities. Through these men and women we will carry on the proud example of Ken Kull.
