The National Tooling & Machining Association (NTMA) is the national representative of the custom precision manufacturing industry in the United States. For the most part, NTMA members are small businesses, yet the industry generates sales in excess of $25 billion a year. Our members design and manufacture special tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, gages, special machines, and precision machined parts. Some firms specialize in experimental research and development work.
The purpose of the NWPA Chapter of the NTMA is to promote the business success of our members through:
- Continual analysis of needs;
- Empowerment of our members with knowledge and resources;
- Identification, utilization and sharing of resources to benefit our members;
- Promotion of a positive image and the importance/value of our industry to our community, government and customers.
The Chapter will explore and promote the following:
- New cutting edge technological opportunities.
- Cost effective programs and benefits for members’ employees and companies.
- Sales and marketing opportunities for members.
- "Best Practices" to enhance operational excellence.
- Beneficial partnerships, alliances, and coalitions.
